Let’s Talk About a Special Kind of #Love
Valentine’s Day has come and gone. But what’s left for you when it comes to love?
There’s an old story worth good to remember, especially in times like these when we talk so much about love. A bus is traveling through the city, heading to a distant land far away. The bus is filled with children, college students, and many people going about their busy lives. But in the midst of the crowd, there’s a man sitting quietly and alone in shabby clothes, his mind weighed down by sadness. He couldn’t bring himself to smile because his thoughts were deep and filled with turmoil. This man had just spent 10 long years in prison.
Once, he had a beautiful family—a loving wife and children. For many years, he neither wrote letters to them nor received any. He was too sad and uncertain about how they would react to him, for he had committed a crime at one point in his life. He loved his family deeply, even more than he loved himself, but he didn't know how they would feel about his past actions. Now, as he was returning home, he longed to experience the love of his family again, but he was still unsure how they would welcome him.
