Jesus: The Historical Man and His Mission
God did not incarnate as a superhero but as a simple, natural human just like you and me

Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights, it wasn’t because He had supernatural powers; the Bible clearly states that He was hungry afterward. He lived like a normal Jew of His time. He observed the Sabbath, attended synagogues, experienced hunger and fatigue, and even displayed human emotions. He was tired, angry at times, and wept when He saw His friend Lazarus had died. However, His life was profoundly different and unique from any human who has ever lived.
The Gospels present Jesus as a teacher. Many addressed Him as such, and it is evident that He taught in various settings. Unlike Paul, who studied under Gamaliel, Jesus had no formal academic training, yet His teaching astonished people. He spoke with authority. Crowds marveled at His words, and even demons obeyed Him (Mark 1:27). He commanded nature itself and His disciples were amazed, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?" (Matthew 8:27).

Jesus was fully human, yet He was deeply aware of His divine mission. He knew…
