I am not afraid of Jesus Christ. To me, He is not a judge but more than a best friend.

Through the guidance of my spiritual father, I learned the art of talking with God. This relationship has now been a part of my life for over 10 years. As a member of a religious community, I live, pray, eat, and work alongside others. But amidst our communal life, I often find time to be alone because I have a special friend waiting for me in the chapel—Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer.

When I approach Jesus, I am fully aware of His divinity and the depth of His love, demonstrated through His sacrifice on the cross. Out of reverence, I prostrate before Him, acknowledging His greatness. Then, I begin to speak. I share my heart—my worries, my problems, and even the important decisions I need to make. I talk to Him as if I were speaking to my closest friend. Our conversations are not limited to personal matters. Sometimes, I share my thoughts on politics, academics, or whatever is on my mind. And when I pause to ask a question, I often feel His response in my heart, as though He is gently whispering the answers I seek. These moments are deeply…
